Which iPod battery is user-replaceable? All iPod batteries are user-replaceable!! Some are more difficult and should be left to the experts to replace. Some batteries need to be soldered so make sure you read the description before buying the battery you need.
How do I know my iPod battery needs to be replaced? If you are experiencing issues like the iPod not holding a charge or not lasting as long as it was when it was new. If your iPod does not work on the charger, then you might have more wrong then just a battery and needs to be sent to our service center.
Will I lose my data or any engravings on the iPod? iPod Battery replacement does not harm the data that is on your iPod. All data will stay intact. If you are sending the iPod to us, we always recommend backing up the iPod before sending. You will get back the same iPod that you sent in for battery replacement. We are not responsible for any data loss that may incur.
How long does a iPod battery last? iPod Batteries usually last 300-500 charging cycles. Confused? That is just a rule of thumb. If you can keep a charge on the iPod, the battery usually lasts longer. The worst thing on the battery is letting it stay dead for a long period of time.
What is the Turn-time on replacing my iPod Battery? Turn time is usually 2 days and returns back to you via UPS Insured.
What is done with the battery that is taken out of my unit? Your battery is sent to a facility to recycle your battery and keep it out of the dump and help the environment. We try to do our part to keep the environment free and clear of dangerous products. Not sure what other companies do...
